There is a staff member immediately outside the gate where people leave the secured area. They can be recognized by their Teen Camp outfit and the Teen Camp sign.

Telephone numbers are exchanged before arrival, so that contact is possible between the staff member and the person to be picked up if necessary.
In case of an "Unaccompanied Minor service" we will take of the formalities.

The Teen Camp participant is picked up by a staff member. This happens at least 2.5 hours before departure. Depending on the situation at the airport.
At the airport, the participant will be accompanied to check-in. There we say goodbye.

The most enjoyable summer camp for teenagers, Teen Camp

Will we see your teen soon at Assumburg Castle?

The beautiful Assumburg Castle has the right atmosphere for the quality Teen Camp summer school program. The Teen Camp has grown strongly in recent years. More and more Dutch as well as international participants come to Assumburg Castle for the "English summer school program".

The location between Amsterdam and the North Sea coast offers us the best of two extremes, the beautiful nature, a sea coast on one side and the metropolis of Amsterdam on the other. At Kasteel Assumburg the youth share a common room with other Teen Campers. Boys and girls separated. Each room has its own sanitary facilities. The castle's restaurant provides all food and drink.

The participants who stay for two weeks will have an entirely different program during classes in the second week. Also, some of the activities will be different. In the weekend these participants will go on a city trip to Amsterdam for a super cool weekend in the capital where they will also stay one night!

For participants coming from abroad, we can arrange transportation between Amsterdam International Airport and the Teen Camp location. The Teen Camp team looks forward to welcoming you to Teen Camp 2026.

Interaction

Communication & presentation

Full attention is given to communication in English. The language of communication during camp is all English and care is taken to ensure that participants speak English among themselves as much as possible. All participants work on a presentation.

English Class

Grammar & vocabulary

Four hours of grammar and vocabulary are spent each day. Specific areas of English grammar are covered in addition.

Going outside

Sports & Activities

Every afternoon it is time for action. In teams, participants will perform fun tasks, including sports. Besides exercise and fun, communicating in English is the goal. Top of the week is the beach day.

The relaxed evening program gives participants time to spend together, play games, watch presentations and, of course, the bon voyage is not missing.

I just went to toe camp for my 4 times. I don't go to the same camp more often anytime soon. You're mostly engaged in learning through play here. And many kids find this more fun than sitting in a classroom working from a book
